I believe in the man and the woman.
The duality is everything and everything is the duality. You standing at that intersection and see it’s only ever right or left; this way or that and if you would just pivot on your axis that same left and right now have a line going thru it. I’m saying that y’all are boxing yourself in instead of believing that everything is subject to change and constantly in flux, including the way you feel and see and view your body and your relationship to it and to other people. I’m not saying it cannot be this or that I’m just saying that the this or that may change and now is not the time to be scared of that. Welcome it, go there and do that so when you’ve been there and done that and you have the T-shirt and souvenirs, you can not only tell somebody else but show somebody else that the change gone come and every little thing will be alright.
Is that not how seasons work with the weather? There are things that blossom and bloom and each season and winter isn’t just a time where frost covers the soil, where stagnancy covers what you thought you’d bring life to. Yes you are waiting on your change but maybe at the same time it’s already here and there a birthing taking place in what you already have, what God gave you. Instead of trying to make over what he done did why don’t you let yourself use it. Who told you the breasts you have wouldn’t be of use unless they were bigger, who told you the Botox would make you look better, who told you that the belly ain’t it, who told you that the only way you’ll be kissed is by filling your lips? You told you that the mirror captures the way you are seen? Who told you that the mirror captures the way God sees you?
We forgot that the flux we see today came from man and woman’s existence and beginnings on this Earth. They are the flux and the flux is them and we realize that, maybe then the men will be okay with crying openly and peace and the woman more completely able to open her mouth and be heard it in abundance. Just because two things are happening at the same time, don't mean that two things are happening at the same time.
I will close with an excerpt from a sermon by Sarah Jakes Roberts: you right it’s terrible, but it’s gone be good; you right it’s painful, but it’s purposeful, you right you at the end of your rope, but I’m bout to give you wings. If you can’t break down, I can’t build you up. God's got two things working at the same time!
The Man and the Woman are working at the same time. That work might look a little different and maybe he's asleep while she doing something or he's in prayer while she is fasting, but the work will go forth beyond this generation if you allow the duality to become more than you have shrunk it to be. They knew it was bigger than them and now I need you to cling to the fact that it is bigger than you.
All the Best,
